Louise Heta

Director; Dietitian; Group Fitness Instructor

Louise is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Sports Dietitian. Much of her private practice work is with chronic dieters with whom she frequently uses the non-diet approach. Louise is a advocate for the HAES (Health At Every Size), helping clients improve their health in the body they have now. Louise has further completed Mindfulness training and is an ACT Level 1 Therapist. Louise brings over 10 years of dietetic experience specialising in emotional eating, disordered eating and sports and performance nutrition.  Her sports experience includes consulting to the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS), the Australian Swimming Team and the Western Bulldogs Football Club. Louise is also a member of Dietitians Assoc. of Australia (DAA) and Sports Dietitians Australia (SDA).

Louise is a qualified group fitness instructor and has trained in boxing for over 6 years and currently is training towards her first amateur boxing fight. Louise has also completed her Diploma in Yoga Teaching at Western Wellness Institute of Training and invites all body shapes to experience the benefits of Yoga.

 

Qualifications – Bach. Nutrition & Dietetics (2003) & Bach. Applied Science (Health Sci.) (2003); Cert 3 Fitness Instructor; Cert 4 Training & Assessment; Metafit Instructor; Level 1 & 2 Boxing Instructor (Punchfit); Diploma in Yoga Teaching (200 hrs)
